Who we are looking for
State Street Bank International GmbH Global Markets (SSBI GM) is looking for a Head of Business Management, Vice President (VP) that executes a portfolio of initiatives, delivering transformational product and change to our SSBI GM business teams. This critical role will drive organizational transformation, optimize business processes and will oversee strategic programs to align with our long-term goals.
This role will work to support businesses across SSBI Global Markets and will partner with Product, Operations, CAO, Business Risk, Legal, Technology and other business partners to execute initiatives and deliver product and infrastructure aligned with our strategic priorities.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex transformation projects, fostering collaboration across teams, and delivering impactful results in a fast-paced financial services environment.

What you will be responsible for
- Work with business leaders to implement strategic and tactical transformation and change initiatives to grow and run the bank
- Partner with Product, operations and other business partners to deliver product and infrastructure aligned with our strategic goals and regulatory requirements
- Partner with business leaders to identify product, infrastructure and operating models necessary for the successful implementation of strategy and initiatives
- Translate business strategic vision into functional product plans
- Usher product and process change and transformation through internal and regulatory governance
- Manage business partner demand and help resolve competing priorities
- Build relationships with business partners (i.e. Legal, Compliance, Operations, IT, Finance, Procurement etc.) and ensure they understand business needs to create robust and sustainable solutions
- Resolve significant issues or roadblocks working with regional and functional management across the bank as required
- Review, analyze, and evaluate business and user needs in order to recommend solutions and options
- Develop and execute projects to meet changing needs and requirements
- Act as a trusted advisor to leadership, providing insights and recommendations for managing risks and opportunities
- Develop KPIs and metrics to measure the success of product & change initiatives and strategic projects
- Continuously monitor and analyze performance, implementing course corrections as needed
- Keep abreast of industry trends and upcoming changes brought about by competitive, market and or regulatory influences
