A Powerful Partnership - St1 Biokraft is a joint venture between St1, HitecVision, and Aneo, bringing together expertise and resources to drive innovation in the biogas sector. At St1 Biokraft, we envision a future where biogas plays a pivotal role in the energy transition. Our mission is to become the leading integrated biogas player in the Nordics, fostering sustainable energy solutions that benefit both the environment and the economy.
The company’s business activities cover the whole biogas value chain, from feedstock sourcing to distribution and end user sales. We are aiming for 3TWh biomethane production and 6TWh biomethane sales by 2030, targeting heavy transportation, maritime and industrial applications. St1 Biokraft is committed to investing over EUR 1 billion in biogas production and distribution networks, enhancing our current capacity of 550 GWh and combined sales of 1 TWh of biomethane. In addition, there are several biogas growth projects in the Nordics.

AS THE CFO

you will play a pivotal role in shaping our financial strategy and driving our mission forward. If you are ready to make a significant impact in the renewable energy sector, we want to hear from you!

Your role is comprehensive, we hope you can for example,

  • Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company’s goals
  • Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
  • Manage relationships with investors, banks, and other financial institutions
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
  • Lead financial planning and analysis to support decision making
  • Collaborate with other departments to drive operational efficiency and profitability

You will play a crucial role in forecasting, allowing you to roll up your sleeves and help us prioritize and execute the right initiatives in the correct order. You will have the opportunity to build capabilities on our growth journey while guiding and supporting team performance. We are looking for someone eager to learn and passionate about driving substantial growth through our business, as we seek an individual who can grow alongside us and adapt to the evolving demands of the role.
You will be a key player of focusing and evaluating our capability and work with the CEO Miika Johansson. You will also be a member of the St1 Biokraft leadership team. Location for this position is Stockholm.

AN IDEAL BACKGROUND THAT WILL HELP YOU TO SUCCEED IN THIS POSITION

  • You have already gained solid experience in the financial field in relevant positions. You have insight in both, internal and external finance management.
  • Your background includes working with growth companies, potentially from an international perspective.
  • You possess understanding of value creation and risk-reward logic. We are looking for a strong candidate with a solid foundation in risk management.
  • You maintain positive relationships, adopt a hands-on approach, and are comfortable navigating a certain level of ambiguity.
  • You demonstrate strong interaction and communication skills in English.
  • You excel at managing various aspects of growth from both financial and organizational perspectives, providing valuable support to the management and operational leadership. You have previous experience from the board.
    Most importantly, you have a business mindset. You possess both the desire and ability to understand our business logic and can effectively articulate this through financial data. You are grounded, your motivation comes from engaging work. You aspire to grow alongside the company and have a humble desire to learn and become well-versed in the business logic.
