We’re looking for a Stabilising Operator to join our Construction Division, based out of Hamilton.
We require operators to safely and efficiently operate and maintain stabilisation equipment, including brand new road stabilising machines, road going cement spreading trucks & watercarts. This is an excellent opportunity to utilize your operating experience in a close-knit and friendly team environment.
Reporting to the Foreman, the role requires the successful candidate to be able to work away from home on a very regular basis for extended periods at times. Based out of Hamilton, this is a national operating department for Fulton Hogan, travelling to worksites all over New Zealand. Generally Monday to Friday work days, with regular Saturday & Sunday work/travel days taking place during the busy summer months. Occasional night shift work will able be asked of our operations as well from time to time.

What you will bring to the table:

  • Class 4 or 5 drivers licence with W,T,R endorsements
  • Machine Operational & Mechanical experience – construction equipment & road trucks
  • Be a team player, self-motivated and take pride in your work
  • Self-motivation and strong problem solving abilities
  • Passion and commitment to safety in the workplace
  • Possess excellent communication & interpersonal skills
  • Ability to complete manual work & has a good level of physical fitness
