Staff Accountant

Growing manufacturing company in Northeast Houston is looking for an experienced Staff Accountant to join their team! The role revolves around managing financial procedures, including processing customer applications, maintaining customer records, and resolving inquiries.

• Process and oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure financial records are accurate.
• Maintain and update the general ledger on a regular basis.
• Prepare journal entries and support month-end close processes.
• Ensure all customer credit records are kept up-to-date and accurate.
• Monitor customer accounts and take action when necessary.
• Apply your skills in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger, Journal Entries, Month End Close, and various accounting software to ensure smooth financial

operations.

• Address customer inquiries in a timely and professional

manner.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
