Description:
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Staff Accountant plays a vital role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and maintaining compliance with regulations. This position involves collaborating closely with the leadership team to support daily accounting operations and contribute to process enhancements.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, with a minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience.
Strongly preferred experience with Sage software and AP automation systems.
Experience in a manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
Familiarity with inventory management and cycle counts is preferred.

- Experience with journal entries and month end close procedures.
- Strong knowledge of accounting and financial principles.

Responsibilities:
Perform general ledger reconciliations to maintain the accuracy of financial data.
Prepare, post, and scan general ledger journal entries.
Assist in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing and reporting processes.
Conduct cash flow analysis and monitor cash balances.
Support vendor payments, account setup, and record retention processes.
Contribute to annual planning, budgeting, and forecasting efforts.
Manage the cycle count process to ensure accurate inventory records.
Prepare bank reconciliations and reconcile general ledger accounts.
Perform balance sheet reconciliations.
Communicate effectively and professionally in both written and verbal forms.
Prepare and audit capital expenditures.
Assist with month-end financial analysis and review.
Aid in the preparation of audit schedules and provide support during audits.
Uphold and promote the company’s values and principles in all work activities.
