Description:
We are presently seeking a temporary Auditor to assist one of our non-profit clients. With an immediate start, this role involves working in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail, strong communication skills and a passion for auditing are key.
Responsibilities:
Work under the supervision of an Audit Manager.
Perform internal audit, risk assessments and draft reports, perform follow up audits, and ensure operational efficiency.
Evaluate internal controls, apply audit testing procedures, and develop audit recommendations.
Conduct assessments of financial and operational processes to ensure compliance with internal control systems.
Assist in the preparation of detailed audit reports and presentation materials for the audit committee.
Contribute to managing and developing the company’s risk management and governance processes.
- Possession of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- In-depth understanding and practical experience with full cycle accounting.
- Proficiency in audit procedures, including planning, techniques, and test and sampling methods involved in conducting audits.
- Demonstrable ability to analyze complex financial reports and records.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively present findings and recommendations.
- Proficiency in using accounting and auditing software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, and as part of a team, on multiple projects.
