Responsibilities:
You will act as the EDI team’s go-to expert on all matters pertaining to disability in large, complex institutions. You will advise the Head of the EDU, produce reports, deliver training content on disability, and advise colleagues across the university as needed. You will chair disability related meetings as directed and ensure disabled and non-disabled colleague are kept informed about relevant matters. You will be the first point of contact for all internal and external enquiries. This varied role also requires you to deliver a high standard of customer service and confident in dealing with sensitive information with discretion. You will work closely with, and be able to learn from, a team of experienced equality advisors, who will support you to be successful in the role, encouraging you to make the most of our personal and professional development opportunities.
