EDUCATION
B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering; M.S. degree preferred
EXPERIENCE
- 7+ years of product development and commercialization design experience as an Hardware/Electrical engineer
- Experience designing precision analog circuits and low frequency RF circuits
- Expertise in understanding of analog circuits involving opamps, FETs, BJTs etc.
- Experience applying analog laboratory test equipment including: signal generators, oscilloscope, spectrum analyzers, power meters, and network analyzers
- Strong hands-on use and knowledge of design and testing tools such as OrCAD, PSpice, Allegro
- Experience on a product development team from initial investigation, and design through to manufacturing introduction
- Solid understanding of CE and product safety regulatory standards
Responsibilities:
- Work with a multi-disciplinary team of engineers and scientists designing high precision analog and low frequency RF systems for scientific instruments
- Apply efforts to proof-of-concept experiments, product improvements, and new product development
- Collaborate with scientists, mechanical and electrical engineering teams in order to bring products to market
