Description:
Are you an experienced Staff Engineer on the Front-End with a passion for creating seamless and engaging user interfaces? Flybits is looking for a Staff Engineer to join our dynamic team, driving the development of our user interfaces using React and Vue.js. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with backend engineers and other cross-functional teams to deliver top-notch user experiences.
NICE-TO-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:
- Building design system libraries (UI reusable components)
- Testing in Cypress
- Progressive Web Apps experience preferably utilizing Service Workers
- Native Web Components
Responsibilities:
- Lead the architecture and design of complex front-end systems and applications using React
- Experience with various JavaScript frameworks (Vue.JS preferred)
- Strong understanding of modern JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Collaborate with backend engineers to ensure seamless integration and consistency across the stack.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to other front-end engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Drive best practices in code quality, testing, and performance optimization.
- Familiarity with backend development and integration to create seamless end-to-end solutions.
- Contribute to the strategic planning of product development and technical direction.
- Experience with a DevOps pipeline in a cloud environment
- Experience with state management libraries
- Knowledge of front-end build tools and package managers
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
