Description:

Are you an experienced Staff Engineer on the Front-End with a passion for creating seamless and engaging user interfaces? Flybits is looking for a Staff Engineer to join our dynamic team, driving the development of our user interfaces using React and Vue.js. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with backend engineers and other cross-functional teams to deliver top-notch user experiences.

NICE-TO-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Building design system libraries (UI reusable components)
  • Testing in Cypress
  • Progressive Web Apps experience preferably utilizing Service Workers
  • Native Web Components

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the architecture and design of complex front-end systems and applications using React
  • Experience with various JavaScript frameworks (Vue.JS preferred)
  • Strong understanding of modern JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Collaborate with backend engineers to ensure seamless integration and consistency across the stack.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to other front-end engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Drive best practices in code quality, testing, and performance optimization.
  • Familiarity with backend development and integration to create seamless end-to-end solutions.
  • Contribute to the strategic planning of product development and technical direction.
  • Experience with a DevOps pipeline in a cloud environment
  • Experience with state management libraries
  • Knowledge of front-end build tools and package managers
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming.
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git.
