As a Staff Engineer, you will play a crucial role in driving architecture decisions for our platforms and modules, collaborating closely with team leads. Your responsibilities will encompass designing secure and robust solution architectures to help teams achieve their goals, while actively setting development guidelines and maintaining a close connection to the code level.
You will be a key representative in cross-team and cross-cluster communications, ensuring the implementation of good practices and guidelines set by the CD Technical Steering Group. Balancing ease of use and detail in documentation will be part of your remit, as will advising the product team on technological choices in collaboration with team leads.
Additionally, you’ll participate in on-call and office-hours support rotations to maintain system stability.
