Description:
JOIN MINVIRO: HELP SHAPE A MORE SUSTAINABLE FUTURE
Minviro is at the forefront of the transition to a green economy. The technologies needed for this transition (such as batteries, magnets, and solar panels) are massively more energy-intensive to produce than their fossil fuel counterparts (such as combustion engines). Without consideration, the transition to green energy will not be enough to prevent climate catastrophe. Our goal is clear: to help companies in the energy transition understand, and reduce, their environmental impact.
As a growing startup with aspirations to become a leading name in environmental intelligence, our culture is shaped by ambition, collaboration, and constant innovation. Our team has expanded rapidly, doubling in size in 2022 and 2023, and we’ve recently opened new offices in Shanghai and Perth. This growth reflects our position as the most respected LCA consultancy in the energy transition sector.
We’re now ready to take the next step on a journey, where technology plays a pivotal role in how we empower the energy sector with environmental intelligence. We’ve set an ambitious goal for software to be the primary revenue driver for the business by 2026, and want to build the team to help us get there.

THE ROLE
Within the engineering team at Minviro, we all aspire to be Full-Stack Engineers! We seek to break down engineering barriers and empower ourselves to deliver end-to-end value to the user fast and often. This means we confidently dive into all aspects of our product, including designing and building infrastructure, data models, APIs, and user experiences.
We’re looking for someone to help us hit our high bar for quality in a fast-paced, iterative environment, ensuring that features and improvements to the product are well-planned and developed in a secure, well-tested, and performant way.
WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
- Shipping features and improvements for our product with confidence.
- Troubleshooting, debugging and fixing production issues (but hopefully not too much!).
- Collaborating with stakeholders within the company (e.g. Leadership, Consulting, Design) to ideate, refine and plan future improvements and features.
- Advocating for improvements to our tech stack, processes, security and performance.
- Scaling your impact across the team (via documentation, mentorship, etc.).
- Saving the world by helping our users understand how to minimise their environmental impacts!
