Our departments are busy, changeable working environments which offer scope for personal development.
The successful candidate[s] will be expected to work regularly and rotationally across both sites within Gloucester and Cheltenham General OPD’s. (Hospital transport bus available with Park and ride facilities in Cheltenham area).
Work as part of a designated clinical team delivering care which is focused on the direct needs of the individual. Have the ability to work without direct supervision, at times delivering care independently in line with the patients defined plan of care and NMC Code of Conduct. Contribute towards developing a culture of learning and innovation, developing high quality learning environments. Assist in the implementation of appropriate action to meet the specific physical, emotional and psychological, social, cultural and spiritual needs of individuals and carers.
Plan and manage competing elements of the job role within a busy, changeable working environment, including flexible working patterns to support cross county working. Work in an effective and organised manner demonstrating excellent time management and organisational skills to effectively deliver person-centred care for an allocated group of individuals. Clinical activities require highly developed skills. This often involves working in certain restricted positions (e.g. bending and kneeling) where posture cannot be easily changed. Continuous concentration is necessary to ensure the high level of clinical care required of the post-holder. This may be difficult to maintain in the presence of frequent interruptions from clinical colleagues, requiring advice.
