Staff Nurse - Eye Care Centre

This is an extremely busy department. Seeing patients with a wide range of ophthalmic conditions. As a staff nurse you will be involved in a number of duties including : Assess patients vision using a number of different techniques Asist in a theatre clean room room environment Completediagnostic tests for patients Carry out telephone and face to face preoperative assessment for cataract surgery. Take on leadership, education and supervision of the team Lead department huddles Coordinate ophthalmic clinics on a daily basis.
Contribute to the ophthalmic health of all patients Experience in numerous ophthalmic specialist clinics. Involve patients/relatives/carers in the delivery of care. Provide and develop a safe quality of care for patients and carers
