The Almroth Wright Gastroenterology team is passionate about getting it right for patients and their families. The clinical area is supported by a multi-disciplinary team of specialists, working to help our patients receive the highest standard of care. We link with the stakeholders and provide an excellent and all-encompassing training programme which enhances staff’s comprehension of the service needs, protocols, and objectives, while also equipping them with the essential knowledge and competencies to perform effectively in their respective roles.
We have the Almroth Wright Staff Development Plan, which encompasses Team Away Days, In-House Gastroenterology Study supported by CNS, Consultants, Pharmacist and a clear development pathway for your professional development. Our team is linking closely with the Education team who ensures that the workforce is adequately trained and knowledgeable to handle current and future challenges effectively, all while delivering excellent patient care.
Our training programs are intended to enhance the confidence and proficiency of our staff in Gastroenterology nursing. We aim to provide an innovative and just learning culture for all with a strong emphasis on interprofessional learning. We offer you Specialist training, support, courses and competencies in Gastroenterology nursing to allow you to grow and develop within the specialty
To provide high quality, effective, individualised care to all patients that is compassionate and caring.
To assess care needs and develop, implement and evaluate them without supervision.
To keep up to date with skills and knowledge
Ensure the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of evidence based.
Assist and advise staff, both registered and unregistered in the delivery of patient care.
Organise one’s own work load ensuring most effective use of time.
Communicate effectively at all times and maintain a harmonious working environment.
