We are seeking for a highly motivated and dedicated Band 5 NMC Registered Nurse to join our dynamic Gynaecology Outpatients team at St. Mary’s Hospital. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care to our patients, ensuring a positive and supportive experience throughout their outpatient journey.

Assist in the coordination of clinics, ensuring efficient patient flow and timely delivery of care.
Assisting the consultants and CNSs colposcopists during colposcopy examinations and treatments, and supporting patients through their procedures.
Competent and confident in venepuncture.
Supporting patients through emotionally challenging situations such as recurrent miscarriages, terminations of pregnancy, rapid access clinics and for those with suspected cancer and complex long-term conditions such as endometriosis, adenomyosis and fibroids.
Provide patient education and support, explaining procedures, treatments, and post-care instructions.
Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team, including consultants, nurses, and administrative staff, to ensure seamless patient care.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed through management of a nurse-led injection clinic while adhering to clinical guidelines and best practices.
Participate in the development, audit and ongoing quality improvement of outpatient services.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations.
Contribute to the training and development of junior staff and students, fostering a culture of continuous learning within the team.
