Description:
We are looking for an enthusiastic band 5 with an interest in women’s Health to join us working with us in the Urgent Gynae Care Centre for about 1 year to cover maternity leave. This is a part time position. The Urgent Gynae care Centre encompasses the early pregnancy Clinic, Emergency Gynae Clinic, Gynaecology outpatients and the Gynaecology SDEC.
The unit is open 7 days per week 365 days per year. The staff work 11:30 hour shifts.
Due to the sensitive nature of the job it is recommended female applicants apply.
Triaging of referrals
Working with and supporting other members of the team
Counselling patients
Assessment of patient needs
Assisting in procedure clinics
To provide nursing advice for women
