Staff Nurse

As a band 5 working within the team you would be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care. You would be at the forefront of teaching and assessing the competencies required for the staff to deliver day to day care for the children with complex health needs, this will include interventions such as care and management of tracheostomies, gastrostomies and ventilation support. You would be expected to provide supervision and appraisals for the junior staff and ensure all mandatory training is up to date. As a band 5 we would expect you to role model the trusts value and behaviour framework when working within the team.

If successful, this vacancy will require an enhanced DBS check at a cost of £41.90. This cost will be deducted from your first Trust salary. In addition to this it will be a condition of your employment that you will join the DBS update service and pay the annual subscription fee of £13
