Now is an exciting time to join the Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care Foundation Trust. The Trust is constantly developing and improving Orthopaedic Services to meet the needs of the people of Tameside and the surrounding area.
The Planned Orthopaedic Unit is currently recruiting staff nurses to work on our 24 bedded unit. The unit cares for patients following Elective surgery, incuding Orthopaedics, Gyanaecology, General surgery and ENT
Training and developing our staff is paramount and there would be opportunities for successful candidates to train and develop within their role and partake in CPD. We have a well-developed Preceptorship Programme for newly qualified staff nurses and there are also a variety of in house training courses available, including the University’s Mentorship Course.
To assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care within sphere of responsibility.
To assist in the management and organisation of work in the clinical area.
To always act in a manner consistent with the NMC Code of Professional Conduct carrying out his/her duties in accordance with Trust policies and procedur
