Description:

There is an exciting opportunity for a staff nurse to join the team on Ward 109 which specialises in the care of patients pre, post operatively and it is an excellent place to work to develop expert surgical nursing skills and to become part of a hard working team.
We nurse patients with varied upper and lower gastrointestinal conditions.
As an acute surgical ward and we take on the team approach to ensure we can deliver a a seamless service to our patients.
The successful candidate will be required to work in accordance with trust policy and procedures, displaying the UHNM trust values at to ensure we provide gold standard service to our patients and their relatives.
There is a requirement will to have good communication skills, verbal and written and the ability, to embrace team working with the nursing team, the wider multi disciplinary team and specialist nurses who play key roles in our care delivery
To be a compassionate nurse with the good time management and the ability to develop sound clinical judgment to care for patients pre and post operatively, displaying the clinical knowledge
