The Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior is seeking to hire a full-time Research Associate II to join the department/clinic/area. You will participate in clinical trials of treatments for addiction with a focus on neuropsychological aspects of drug disorders, involving psychometric testing and brain imaging. Primary duties include:

• Conducting recruitment sessions at the treatment center
• Completing intake screenings with potential participants
• Facilitating the informed consent process
• Participating in quality control and quality assurance activities
• Preparing subjects for experiments
• Acquiring fMRI Data
• Other research duties as assigned

Salary range: $28.88/hr - $46.46/hr
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience or related field (preferred)
Experience in cognitive science, neuroscience, psychology, or related field
Skill in working independently and following through on assignments
Proficiency in data management and organization of technical information
Ability to troubleshoot and follow detailed research protocols
Interpersonal skills to interact with other lab member
