Description:
Under the general direction of the Staff Services Manager II, the Staff Services Manager I (SSMI) is responsible for the management of the DAS Funding Team (FT). The SSMI will manage and oversee the FT staff and will be a lead advisory capacity on a variety of high-level, complex, and sensitive program areas pertaining to statewide and federal solicitations and funding opportunities. The manager provides leadership to create a quality management environment where a team approach to problem solving and continual improvement processes are present. Consults on program policy and operational issues and provides recommendations.

Working Conditions
Majority of time will be in either the DAS Los Angeles Office or Oakland Headquarters offices and other locations throughout California may be required as needed, may be required to work out of home if provided with proper office equipment; 95% indoors, 10% out-of-doors.
