We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Digital Internet Solutions Development team that develops, installs, and supports internet banking, retail delivery, and platform solutions for use by banks and credit unions running on Jack Henry’s core platforms. Software Engineers are constantly keeping our apps up to date with the newest development practices to offer exciting user experiences for highly secured data. Although you will work in a team, you have to be self-motivated and able to work with independence. To be successful, you need to care deeply about your work, your team, and the end user.
This position will be filled to work Remotely within the U.S.

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Oversee and direct the timely, effective, and quality delivery of software into production.
  • Collaborate with teammates, developers, QA, operations, etc. to build and deliver software into production.
  • Provide technical direction in coding, standards, design, languages.
  • Develop and test applications based on business requirements and industry best practices.
  • Conduct unit testing and integration testing for functionality and limits.
  • Assist in training and mentoring peers.
  • May perform other job duties as assigned.
