This role is dedicated to support and improve the infrastructure for mobile builds. The core focus is making sure the infrastructure can scale, is stable, performant and maintainable. Success in this role means the mobile developers at Pinterest have a productive build environment.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute code to mobile build tools and mobile infrastructure (Android CI, iOS CI, Develocity, etc) and partner with internal customers to identify common solutions for mobile platforms.
- Uplevel operational cadence & strategy in helping drive functional and reliability improvements for the platform.
- Participate in on call activities supporting engineering questions and also triaging and solving system failures.
- Represent the customer and suggest new projects and features to improve the mobile experience.
- Maintain, optimize and simplify CI pipelines for both iOS and Android.
