Job Description Summary: What you need to know about the role: This role is critical in ensuring the security, scalability, and efficiency of the identity infrastructure, aligning with business objectives and compliance requirements. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of identity and access management technologies, strong leadership skills, a strategic mindset, and motivation to achieve results in a fast-paced environment. Meet our team: The Identity Engineering team is responsible for providing Identity & Access Management capabilities for PayPal users and partners. We design, develop, and enhance services that are called across every interaction between PayPal and its users and partners. Our solutions must scale across billions of such interactions, working with petabyte plus data, integrating with various other APIs in real-time and providing high availability and configurability to the business. To achieve this, we are always looking at advances in technology and science and tying those back to business needs. Job Description Your way to impact: As Member of Technical Staff in the Identity Engineering organization, you will play a pivotal role in developing, implementing, and maintaining the company’s identity and access management systems. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • A solid grounding in Computer Science fundamentals.
    8-12 years of experience building successful production software systems and Identity solutions

    The U.S. national annual pay range for this role is $84500 to $204600
    For the majority of employees, PayPal’s balanced hybrid work model offers 3 days in the office for effective in-person collaboration and 2 days at your choice of either the PayPal office or your home workspace, ensuring that you equally have the benefits and conveniences of both locations.
