1 ‑ Part Time (.5) ‑ Staffing Clerk
Staffing Office
Under the general direction of the Manager, Staffing Office, the Staffing Clerk performs staffing/scheduling duties
which include maintaining staff schedules, calling in staff and managing staffing changes for numerous clinical units
in addition to assisting all other departments with the scheduling system software. The Staffing Clerk must be able to
work independently, prioritize workload, multi task, interpret and resolve staffing issues and other problems all under
time constraints and with exceptional customer service.
Qualifications:
* Minimum Secondary School Graduation Diploma or equivalent
* Proven speed, accuracy and proficiency in the use of multi line telephone systems and other office equipment
* Demonstrated computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
* Excellent organizational skills for task completion and prioritization to manage competing demands in a time
sensitive environment
* Excellent oral and written communication skills, including pleasant disposition, tact and ability to communicate
effectively
* Experience or education in scheduling, collective agreements, labour relations, human resources and/or healthcare
preferred
Salary Range: $26.415 to 31.080
