  • Acquérir la capacité de gérer différentes pièces et différents services, de comprendre et de mettre en œuvre les politiques du service et principes adoptés par Bell Helicopter Textron.
  • Utiliser, mettre à jour et optimiser les systèmes d’information sur les approvisionnements, notamment pour accomplir les tâches suivantes :

o émettre les bons de commande,
o aligner les conditions des contrats aux besoins de la production,
o assurer le suivi des pièces auprès des fournisseurs,
o alimenter tous les autres systèmes d’approvisionnement, au besoin,

o traiter les expéditions urgentes,

  • Traduire les exigences d’acheminement des pièces et des matériaux en besoins contractuels; émettre des bons de commande selon les ententes commerciales
  • Assurer la liaison avec d’autres services de l’entreprise (Ingénierie, Qualité, Opérations, etc.) et d’autres divisions de Bell ou Textron, au besoin;
  • Régler rapidement les problèmes de réception;
  • Acquérir et perfectionner des connaissances techniques de base sur les marchandises dont il est responsable;
  • Mener à bien toutes les autres tâches générales requises et améliorer sa connaissance des modalités de Bell.

  • Develop the ability to manage various parts and services, to understand and implement department policies and to apply the principles advocated by Bell Helicopter Textron.
  • Use, maintain and optimize procurement information systems, notably to perform the following tasks:

o issue purchase orders
o align contract terms with production needs
o follow up on parts with suppliers
o input data into all other procurement information systems, as required

o handle urgent shipments

  • Translate parts and material flow requirements into contractual needs and issue purchase orders according to negotiated contract agreements.
  • Liaise with the company’s other departments (e.g. Engineering, Quality, Operations) and other Bell or Textron divisions, as needed.
  • Quickly resolve receiving issues.
  • Acquire and hone basic technical skills pertaining to the merchandise under your responsibility.
  • Successfully complete all other general tasks required and improve your knowledge of Bell’s terms and conditions.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Be a student enrolled in a bachelor’s program in business administration, specializing in operations and production management, operations and logistics management, operations and logistics engineering, or industrial engineering.
  • Proficiency with basic Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook). Ability to create basic Excel spreadsheets. Knowledge of Business Object, an asset.
  • Good sense of timing, with good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong team spirit and interpersonal skills to promote Bell Helicopter’s success.
  • Familiarity with ERP and SAP systems; ability to read plans and blueprints, an asset.
  • Sense of urgency and ability to work under pressure.
  • Positive attitude and understanding of the importance of meeting deadlines.
  • Planning, organizational and prioritization skills.
