During your Co-op, you will be involved in various project management duties. During your Co-op, you will be involved in various project management duties. You will assist in planning and monitoring the progress of construction projects, ensuring that timelines and budgets are respected. Your role will include collaborating with project managers, site superintendents, and other team members to address challenges and maintain smooth workflows.
Through site visits, you will observe construction activities and verify compliance with safety and quality standards. At EBC, your Co-op term will offer you a comprehensive understanding of the construction industry and the opportunity to make meaningful contributions to impactful projects

REQUIREMENTS

— Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering / collegue degree (or similar) in progress.
— Relevant experience in engineering or construction means and methods is an important asset.
— A driver’s license and/or ability to travel may be required in some cases.

Responsibilities:

— Supervise and coordinate all construction phases on the site, including work performed by internal teams and subcontractors.
— Ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and schedules, adjusting priorities as necessary.
— Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to address technical and operational issues.
— Verify the conformity of completed work and report any deviations from specifications or standards.
— Efficiently manage human, material, and financial resources on the site.
— Implement health and safety standards, ensuring practices meet legal requirements and company policies.
— Keep construction logs and daily reports up to date to document work progress.
— Participate in site meetings with stakeholders to discuss progress and resolve conflicts.
— Foster a team culture focused on excellence, collaboration, and professional ethics.
