Job Description
Reporting to the Head of Portfolio Interface and Stakeholder Management, the Stakeholder Lead will play a central role in implementing effective stakeholder engagement, both internal and external.
The Stakeholder Lead will work closely with the Programme and Portfolio teams, Dublin Airport Communications Teams and Functions to ensure that Stakeholder Management plan is effectively executed.
This role shall ensure that the flow of information, regarding stakeholders, is managed in an effective way such that communications channels between stakeholders and the portfolio are consistent, effective and documented.
The stakeholder lead shall have overall responsibility establishment and maintenance of the stakeholder management systems in accordance with that plan. The Contracting Entity is a dynamic environment and the stakeholder lead will be required from time to time to update this plan and develop specific stakeholder communication plans.
The Stakeholder lead shall represent the portfolio stakeholder function internally and shall interface with programme and project teams to ensure that stakeholder management processes are implemented and communicated. The stakeholder lead will meet, discuss, document and issues as they arise and assist in the development of communications in relation to the programmes in a manner consistent with the Stakeholder Management Plan and direction of the Head of Portfolio Interface and Stakeholder Management.
In support of the Head of Portfolio Interface and Stakeholder Management the Stakeholder Lead, and supported but the communications officer, will be responsible for development of communications material, organising of events etc. required in support of the portfolio of works.
The Stakeholder lead shall be responsible for the stakeholder reporting material, such that all relevant internal stakeholders are informed in a systematic and effective manner, including the Portfolio Board, Executive team and Company Board.
The role shall also encompass the provision of an appropriate CRM software solution and the implement at a collaboration standard such as ISO 44001 Business Collaboration.
This is a central role, working closely with project leaders and project managers to ensure that Infrastructure Department effectively communicates both internally and externally.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10+ years post-graduation in stakeholder engagement/communications including substantial experience with major
  • infrastructure projects, with the emphasis on schemes in complex regulated environments or public works
  • Appropriate qualifications and/or demonstrated experience in stakeholder management
  • Excellent clear and confident communications skills, both verbal and written
  • Demonstrated history of working with significant public infrastructure projects
  • Experience in the establishment and management and maintenance of stakeholder management systems, including document
  • management and control
  • Demonstrated capacity to organise and constructively engage with internal stakeholders
  • Proven ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • The ability to negotiate with, influence and persuade others, to work with people at all levels and to build good relationships with them
  • The ability to deal effectively with challenging situations, to take a positive approach to identifying problems and to propose and initiate
  • creative solutions
  • Have knowledge of performing public sector procurement
