At EY, we are seeking a Functional Business Analyst to join our FinCrime Technology & Innovation team, a place of digital and technological innovation where we strive to build a better working world through the power of people, technology, and innovation. As a Functional Business Analyst, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, and product managers, to craft and deliver digital solutions. You will work closely with clients and subject matter experts to identify and analyze specific business requirements, conduct gap analyses, and develop strategies and solutions to address these requirements.

SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES FOR SUCCESS

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or business
• 3+ years of software design experience in consulting or banking
• Proficient in English
• Expertise in Agile methodologies for effective application development
• Ability to interpret organizational objectives into information system goals
• Knowledge of technology architectures’ best practices and market trends
• Strong autonomy, problem-solving, and communication skills

• Gather and interpret business requirements
• Interpret business needs and convert them into functional requirements for implementation
• Lead design workshops for optimized solutions and facilitate communication between business and implementation teams
• Stay abreast of best practices and market trends in technology architectures
• Identify and characterize technology exploration initiatives
