Description:

JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for an energetic sales & marketing lead to help grow our distribution. We are a young team spread throughout the UK and internationally and have a period of rapid growth coming up. We’re looking for someone to own our push into the independent retail and food service channels to drive our distribution over what will be a big year for us.
This is a starting role with a company at the beginning of some rapid and aggressive growth. We are looking someone that is keen to make their mark and grow with the company. There will be opportunity to grow within the company.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in a sales or marketing management role, preferably within FMCG specifically.
  • Strong written and spoken communications skills and ability to develop and build strong relationships.
  • Self starter and ability to build pipeline and execute on opportunity.
  • Understanding of trade marketing tactics and opportunities. Make our brand pop in stores.
  • Experience within sales & marketing functions
  • A degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred but not essential if experience is demonstrable.
    Job Types: Full-time, Freelance
    Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year

Responsibilities:

  • Own the sales pipeline. Map out target accounts and develop new opportunities for the brand.
  • Develop and build relationships with all accounts. Strong interpersonal skills to ensure we are loves by all stockists.
  • Cover accounts across the whole UK. Willing to travel to see key accounts and generate activity for the brand.
  • Develop our wholesale business. Increase activity with key wholesalers and work with their sales team to push our brand.
  • Develop our food service business and work to push our sales throughout independent food service all the way up to the national chains.
  • Always be monitoring competitor activity and adjust strategies accordingly to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and market insights to senior management.
