Description:
$80,000 - $90,000 PER ANNUM
Scotpac is looking for a State Credit Analyst/Auditor to join their team.
As a State Credit Analyst you will be managing client credit risk in Melbourne including portfolio risk, problem accounts, compliance, and risk reporting in the region.
Major Tasks and Challenges:Keep losses to a minimum through effective monitoring risk
- Keep losses to a minimum through effective monitoring risk, identifying and assisting the State Credit Manager and the broader Relationship team, in resolving risk issues.
- Analytical review of portfolios and providing support to Credit Manager to complete reviews with Client Relationship Managers
- Monitor the completion of month end risk and compliance reporting
- Awareness of and compliance with ScotPac Credit Policy
- Review monthly change report (half a day per month
- Review of completed audits and actions required
- Ensure the Client Relationship team complies with company credit policy and procedures
- Minimise or eliminate losses by monitoring risk and detecting and rectifying potential breaches of policy
- Minimizing risk of loss in the event of client default
- Monitor financial standing of clients
- Liaison with other areas of the business especially where client exposures are shared
- Review Client Audit reports and Survey Reports, identify advise on remedial action where required
- Where required support the relationship team in other activities
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor Degree or Equivalent in related field
- Minimum of 18 months experience within Debtor Finance industry
- Thorough understanding of risk control and procededures with a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role within the Financial Industry
- Auditing experience required and familiarity of completing surveys including the ability to analyse financials from a risk perspective
- Excellent communication / Stakeholder management skills
- Ability to solve problems collaboratively and efficiently
- Experience using risk management software, experience with Dancerace (R3 and C3 highly desirable) and experience using D365, PowerBi, Excel and CMP required
