Description:
THE OPPORTUNITY
As our NSW Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for the maintenance of Veolia’s largest state fleet, over 700 vehicles.Based in western Sydney, you will manage nine Workshop Managers and over 50 other staff to ensure all vehicles are maintained and delivered to the agreed scope, standard, schedule and budget. This will be your opportunity to be a genuinely strategic manager, using data to recommend changes, CAPEX spend and replacement schedules that will maximise efficiency for our business.
Responsibilities:
- Work within and sustain the National and State asset management and procurement procedures, with a focus on standardisation of equipment and methods. Management of external suppliers and contractors.
- Collaboration with business partners and supply partners to identify and implement new technology and innovation that brings value to operations and customers.
- Ownership of equipment, capex process, the asset register, the insurance register,
- Ownership of the preventative maintenance plans for all equipment assets.
- Develop and sustain strong relationships for innovation, training & competency and safety in the implementation, refurbishment and retirement of assets.
- Reporting on key maintenance performance indicators to maintain compliance and efficiency.
