Responsibilities:
YOUR ROLE:
This role is based in the Sydney Head Office. As the NSW State Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the sales and revenue performance of the branch. This includes sales results, revenue performance, customer retention and satisfaction and staff satisfaction levels.
You must be an experienced sales leader who understands the sales process and knows how to shape and win a deal. You will be expected to be directly involved in the largest and most complex opportunities, leading the executive engagement, and influencing at CEO and board level. This role requires you to manage a sales team and to have a solid understanding of IT outsourcing and the managed services market. Experience working in an MSP/Systems Integrator would be very beneficial.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coach, mentor, guide and train the Sales team on an ongoing basis.
- Allocate the right resources to the right opportunities, manage the account management territory and ensure proper bid management and opportunity qualification is undertaken.
- Work on the largest and most complex opportunities - including responding to customer requests for information, developing and planning solution presentations and demonstrations, technical/product guidance in meetings etc
- Help the customer understand the proposed technical solution to the business problem under applicable constraints
- Lead discussions with customer audiences up to CxO level on the use of Brennan related technologies
- Work with local consultants to ensure they understand the Brennan value proposition and are actively considering Brennan for new RFP’s etc
- Closely align with vendors and partners in state to form good working relationships and uncover new business opportunities for execution by the BDM team
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE ROLE
- 15+ year’s minimum industry experience in a sales position selling complex IT solutions
- 5+ years experience in people management
- Strong people management skills with a proven track record on personal development and coaching
- An open-minded approach to new ideas, practices and methods and an Entrepreneurial attitude.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills (verbally and in writing)
