CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
- Full-time availability (40 hours per week)
- Valid BC Security License
- Relevant experience in the security industry
- Ability to stand for long periods of time & complete routine patrols
- Excellent customer service skills & professional deportment
- Strong commitment to safety & security
- Excellent communication and reporting skills
- Additional certifications are assets: AST, OFA 1, 2, 3, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Responding to client requests and onsite emergencies
- Face-to-face customer service to clients, public, and those working inside the building
- Ensuring the security of all personnel, visitors, and the public
- Inspecting & patrolling premises
- Monitoring property access
- Investigating and reporting suspicious behavior, incidents, and security breaches
- Enforcing client informed policies
- Communicating with law enforcement, emergency medical personnel, and fire departments
- Responding to alarms
- Other duties to be completed as assigned
