CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Full time: able to work 32 hours per week
  • Valid BC Security License
  • Relevant experience in the security industry
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time & complete routine patrols
  • Excellent customer service skills & professional deportment
  • Strong commitment to safety & security
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills
  • Additional certifications are assets: AST, OFA 1, 2, 3, etc.

Responsibilities:

  • Responding to client requests and onsite emergencies
  • Face-to-face customer service to clients, public, and those working inside the building
  • Ensuring the security of all personnel, visitors, and the public
  • Inspecting & patrolling premises
  • Monitoring property access
  • Investigating and reporting suspicious behavior, incidents, and security breaches
  • Enforcing client informed policies
  • Communicating with law enforcement, emergency medical personnel, and fire departments
  • Responding to alarms
  • Other duties to be completed as assigned
