Description:
We are seeking a well-motivated and forward thinking senior Physiotherapist to join our Neurology Physiotherapy Team.
The role consists of a mixture of inpatient and outpatient caseload including HASU, acute stroke rehab, neuro outliers and neuro outpatients. Within the post there is also the opportunity to:
Be responsible for the supervision & appraisal of rotational staff and students
Contribute to the in-service training programme
Contribute to service development and audit
Contribute to research
WE CAN OFFER YOU THE OPPORTUNITY TO WORK IN A:
Hyperacute and Acute Stroke unit
Working closely within a dynamic and supportive MDT
Ability to treat some traumatic brain injuries and other neurological conditions
Support, supervision and teaching from an experienced Team Leader
Weekend and on call competency is essential.

To provide a high standard physiotherapy service in assessing and treating neurological patients
To supervise and teach recently qualified physiotherapists, assistants and students
To contribute to teaching MDT staff
To contribute to research and service development
To participate in CPD and other departmental activities
Participate in weekend working on the Stroke unit
Participate in the physiotherapy on call service.
