Description:

THE KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Lead or work as part of a team that applies statistical survey skills to manage processes including: − Frame and sample preparation. − Cleaning and processing survey responses and other structured and unstructured data. − Sample weighting. − Data processing, analysis and reporting statistics (mostly descriptive).

  • Lead or work as part of a team that manages survey projects according to agreed timelines and budgets for Queensland Government clients. - Ensure outputs satisfy office standards for integrity and accuracy based on quality principles and methodologies.SUCCESS CRITERIA: To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate: - Proficiency in processing and analysing data using the statistical software application ‘R’ (considered essential for this position).- Good written and verbal communication skills.- An understanding of the survey process from beginning to end.- An understanding of official statistics including standards and classifications.- Experience in providing client-focused services.- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage competing work priorities with tight deadlines, while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.Applications to remain current for 12 months.Job Ad Reference: QLD/581775/24Closing Date: Thursday, 15 August 2024This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 Australia License.
