YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in economics, statistics or equivalent;
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in official statistics in the field of statistical production involving the collection, storage, compilation, validation, processing, analysis and dissemination of statistical data, database management, research and analysis or in the field of quality reviews or quality assessments or quality audits in relation to statistical production, either at national or European levels;
- Good knowledge of statistical methods and concepts and good analytical skills are essential.
- A thorough understanding of the development, production and use of European statistics and functioning of the ESS would be an asset;
- Excellent knowledge of Excel and database management. Knowledge of Microsoft Office and statistical programming software are essential.
- Fluent in English (speaking and writing);
- Excellent planning and organizational skills and ability to work effectively in teams is essential;
- Sound drafting capacity and ability to communicate with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
- Processing, validation and dissemination of data
- Collect, interpret data and analyse results
- Filter, Sort and Mine data using statistical techniques/methods
- Report the results to the relevant members
- Identify patterns and trends in data sets
- Work alongside teams and the management to establish business needs
- Define new data collection and analysis processes
- Provide technical and financial management of on-going projects; coordinate and monitor the project activities on site, monitor the project progress, ensure the compliance with formal specifications and procedures, supervise and manage project staff and resources, prepare and finalize project reports
- Consult with clients, project partners and consortium partners on a regular basis
- Drafting meeting/interview minutes and reports.
