ABOUT YOU: SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Required Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 5 to 10 years of experience in preparing statutory accounts and financial statements.
- Strong understanding of financial accounting principles. Knowledge of IFRS and/or US GAAP is a distinct advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and data integrity.
- CPA or relevant certifications are a plus.
- French language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities:
WHAT ROLE WILL YOU PLAY IN OUR TEAM
As a key member of the Regional Controllers organization, The Statutory Reporting Department is providing financial services for more than 30 affiliates in the EMEA region. Due to the dynamic growth of the department in Budapest we are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Statutory Reporting Analyst to join our department to transfer activities from the in-country Controllers organization. This new role offers a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of our centralized operations in Budapest, providing significant exposure to international statutory reporting and the chance to shape and streamline processes for the future finance operations. The ideal candidate will have 5 to 10 years of experience in statutory reporting and analysis, and familiarity with preparing local statutory accounts and financial statements.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Prepare local statutory accounts and financial statements in accordance with local GAAP and company policies.
- Serve as the focal point for local statutory audits, ensuring compliance and timely completion.
- Present financial statements and reports to the board of directors.
- Support the annual income tax return process and tax finalization.
- Preparation of interim financial statements, presentations, and ad hoc analysis for management and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and support decision-making processes.
- Continuously identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within the statutory reporting cycle.
