Steelfixer
Responsibilities:
- Making measurements and preparing the site for steel works
- Designing and installing steel structures and mesh.
- Using hand and power tools to cut and bend steel bars and mesh.
- Fitting spacers and supports
- Joining steel reinforcement bars, footings and griders by welding or with clips or wires.
- Select and also evaluate materials for potential defects
- Reading and interpreting designs to meet specifications set by Architects
- Liaising with clients, suppliers and other tradesmen
