The Central Processing Manager is responsible for the daily function in the Central Processing department. This includes a staff of Central Processors, Instrument techs and the Lead Instrument room tech. The manager will be responsible for overseeing the budget, capital requests, and supply requests. The manager is responsible for overseeing training and in-servicing for the central processors, instrument techs and the lead instrument tech. The manager will be responsible for thru put of the department and efficiencies for productivity. The manager will work with the OR board runner and facilitators to help with instrument turnovers, conflicts and shortages.
