Responsibilities
Monday - Friday (11:00pm - 7:00am)
Surgery can be very scary for a patient. It’s our job to make sure surgical instruments are ready for use when needed. Our Sterile Processing Techs ensure that our instruments are sterile and clean while confirming equipment needed works properly. What you’ll do:

  • Prepare surgical instruments by ensuring the equipment is clean and sterile
  • Clean assemble wrap and sterilize instrumentation used for surgery
  • Handles and processes surgical decontamination according to established policy/procedure
  • Serves as a preceptor in training and orientation of fellow staff members and students

Qualifications

  • High school graduate
  • Preferred- Certified Sterile processing Central Sterile Program graduate Surgical Tech Student or Sterile processing work experience
