We are a team of patient focused, dedicated professionals who are responsible for the reprocessing and distribution of reusable medical devices (RMD) used surgical and diagnostic procedures in our Operating Theatre and other clinical areas. The role involves a series of complex interrelated processes that include decontamination, inspection, assembly, packaging, and sterilisation of all RMD to a high standard following established department procedures, best practice, and compliance standards.

Utu whānui |Salary range
This role belongs to the Te Whatu Ora/Allied, Scientific and Technical Collective Agreement and falls between Step 1 ($65,842 p.a. pro-rata) and Step 5 ($79,039) p.a. pro-rata of Grade A Technical/Non Degree qualified salary scale.
Responsibilities:
You will become part of an experienced, high quality driven, supportive team who are all trained in this specialised profession. This role is like no other, it is both physically and mentally demanding, you’re required to complete complex tasks that require high levels of concentration, undertake manual, dexterous work, and operate a broad range of equipment.
You will be required to work rotating, rostered shifts including weekends and evenings.
