Sterilisation Technician Team Leader

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Certificate III in Sterilisation
• Enrolled in or completed Certificate IV is desirable
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in theatre sterilisation team leader
• Thorough understanding of standards and AS5369:2023 requirements
• Endoscope Cleaning knowledge.
• Experience in coordinating loan sets
• Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory capacity
• Proficient understanding of CSSD processes and tasks
• Ability to deliver high-quality service through effective team leadership.

REQUIREMENTS

• Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
• According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.

Your duties will include, but not limited to:

• Assist in the day-to-day coordination of the CSSD activities.
• Ensure compliance with minimum requirements for equipment care, handling and re-processing.
• Uphold competency standards for yourself and other technicians in all sterilisation processes.
• Adhere to sterilisation standards and relevant legislation affecting practice.
• Collaborate with Theatre & CSSD staff to ensure timely equipment processing
