RiteBite Orthodontics Oakville has an exciting long term, full-time opportunity! We are looking for a talented Sterilization Technician to join our Oakville, ON team. Canadian Orthodontic Partners provides support services to RiteBite Orthodontics Oakville and our national network of community-based clinics in delivering personalized Orthodontic treatment. REQUIREMENTS:

  • Level 2 Dental Assistant is required
  • Lab/Sterilization Technician experience is considered an asset but not required.
  • Experience with clinical sterilization practices also considered an asset.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; written and verbal, an ability to make patients feel comfortable and at ease.
  • Great time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients and families in the patient area.
  • Help in sterilization and turnover/cleaning of hygiene chairs between patients.
  • Document all sterilization cycles and as indicated by public health regulations.
  • Exit patients from the clinic.
  • Maintaining patient records and.
  • Bring patients in for their visit in an enthusiastic way, building a personal connection at every visit.
  • Desire to help, educate and improve our patients’ lives.
  • Prepare and maintain all dental instruments, supplies and equipment.
  • Organize, clean, and maintain a clean and sterile clinical area.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and work cohesively with fellow team members to provide an atmosphere of trust, respect, and cooperation.
  • Perform any other tasks delegated or assigned by the Orthodontist or leadership team.
  • Possess great energy for a fast-paced environment.
