Come be a part of Team NewCold Coaldale! Become a part of a fast pace, fast growing automated Cold Storage facility. We are currently looking for a Stock Control Assistant with a minimum 3 years’ experience to join our team and work in our frozen warehouse.
Performing activities related to the function of stock management. Responsible for maintaining stock management KPI according Operational Service Agreement (OSA) – Inventory Accuracy KPI. Responsible for stock alignment between the customer’s stock management system (ERP) and MLS.
Intended results
Service levels to customer in terms of product quality and service levels are maintained
Correct communication with the Customer Service & Stock Manager and the NewCold Warehouse
Initiate warehouse improvements
A safe and healthy work environment is maintained
A healthy and professional relationship with the customer is maintained at all times
Responsibilities
Manages and maintains stocks of the client’s stock management system (ERP) with MLS.
Provides the Customer Service & Stock Manager with accurate and timely information on stocks and maintains frequent contact on progress, priorities defects and bottlenecks
Ensures if necessary to adjust the stock, after consultation with the Customer Service & Stock Manager
Signals anomalies and bottlenecks, agrees on measures where needed and executes them
Makes sure that all stock management tasks performed for a customer and/or the site are being done with coordination of the Customer Service & Stock Manager, i.e. restacking, stock status changes, and cycle count
Does necessary administrative work for the stock management process and insures that it is accurate
Helps maintain customer service system that supports the service levels to our customers
Escalate and communicate stock control issues within NewCold management
Ensure stock keeping is at the expected quality as agreed with NewCold customers
Educational Requirements
High School Degree
Experience Requirements
3+ years of experience in stock management and customer service
HACCP Training Accreditation (Preferred but not essential)
Training in Warehouse Management Systems (Preferred but not essential)
Confident, articulate, and professional speaking abilities (and experience)
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Applications (Excel & Word)
