Directorate: Adult Care, Housing & Public Health
Permanent, 37 hours per week
An opportunity has arisen in Housing Property Services to recruit 2 x Stock Information Officers. The roles sit within the Housing Investment section where you will be part of a team responsible for supporting the development of investment strategies that address future stock needs and achieve Government policies and targets.
Main duties of the posts include the high-quality collection, validation, analysis, interpretation and reconciliation of detailed stock condition, energy efficiency, and asset compliance and risk data.

The successful candidates will have:

  • Evidence of being highly proficient in utilising a wide variety of computer applications in support of data analysis and presentation of high-quality business intelligence
  • Experience in proactively identifying areas of poor data quality or concern and taking appropriate action to validate, update, and deliver improvement to the data and the collection systems used
  • Proficiency in the analysis of complex datasets and communicating the findings in a range of formats to non-technical people
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Substantial experience as a key user of a business application database
  • Experience of using a range of computer applications and ICT including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, presentation software, internet, and e-mail.

Until 31st March 2026 employees paid at Band D and above are subject to a temporary pay reduction of 1.15% spread out by means of a monthly deduction from each pay period over the full financial year.
