Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Stock & Inventory Controller. In this role, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, ensuring accurate inventory management, timely stock replenishment, and efficient coordination of warehouse activities. The position requires strong administrative skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capability to handle multiple tasks effectively.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in inventory management or cost control.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in inventory management software and ERP systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.

• Inventory Management:
• Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile inventory records.
• Implement and maintain inventory management systems and procedures.
• Monitor stock levels and identify potential shortages or excesses.
• Optimize inventory turnover rates to minimize costs and avoid stockouts.
• Manage stock transfers and reconciliations between locations.
• Cost Control:
• Develop and implement cost-saving strategies.
• Track and report on variances between budgeted and actual costs.
• Purchasing:
• Manage the purchasing process, including vendor selection, order placement, and receipt of goods.
• Ensure timely delivery of goods and adherence to quality standards.
• Negotiate with suppliers to obtain favourable pricing.
• Reporting:
• Prepare regular inventory reports and cost analysis.
• Provide insights and recommendations to management for improving inventory efficiency and cost control.
