As our Stockroom Manager (Inventory Controller) you’ll provide day-to-day oversight of the store’s back of house operations as well as work closely with your team of fellow supervisors, the Assistant Store Manager and the Store Manager. You’ll also play a key role in achieving store KPI’s as well as delivering an unbeatable client experience. You’ll shine here if you enjoy:

  • Ensuring cycle counts are established within stores and schedules are followed and completed to help avoid out of stocks
  • Ensuring the returns process and obsolete stocks are processed by the team effectively and in a timely manner within the store network
  • Utilizing time and planning tools effectively to ensure that business and operational results are achieved
  • Monitoring stock levels in conjunction with the store Inventory Controller Lead on all inventory items
  • Completing paperwork procedures that are necessary for effective functioning of the business
  • Preparing and completing reports as needed on stock control
  • Building and creating relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Working on a rostered basis including weekends, early starts and late finishes

We would love to hear from you if you:

  • Have previous experience in a similar stock based role in a fast paced, high volume retail sales environment
  • Have strong emotional intelligence, communication skills, and the ability to influence team members at all levels by leading by example
  • Have a suitable level of physical fitness as you will be lifting and shifting boxes that can weight up to 15kg
  • Are proficient in using the Microsoft Office Suite.
