Description:
ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY:
We are searching for one competent person to fill a Storage Architect and SME role in our operations team.
Ericsson Lab Operations provide world class lab infrastructure, storage, networks and HW services to research and development organizations through our standardized solution and services. We enable our stakeholders to configure and deploy their design and test environment.
The Global Storage Service is supporting storage capacity with world-wide deliveries from Linköping, Stockholm and regional labs.
You will be part of our operations team and report to a Line Manager in Lab Operations Network & Storage unit.
Responsibilities:
Deliver Service development and projects - design, development, roadmap and improvement.
- Drive and contribute technical innovations to the service strategy plans and roadmaps.
- Maintain service anatomy.
- HW and SW installation, including future hybrid cloud environments, of new, remove, repair, upgrade, and patching. Togheter with operations team keeping systems up to date according to service and Ericsson design, guidelines, best practices, and recommendation from vendor(s).
- Data migration and stakeholder coordination.
- Act as the contact person towards sourcing and system vendors.
- Reply to general queries from users of the service.
- Quality Assurance (Alert, Audit, Log, Security).
- Manage Proactive monitoring of services and functions using tools. Managing alerting systems and tool’s (internal and auto support functions).
- Management of AD set-up (EGAD/LDAP), IDM roles and user set-up, NW security zones, Certificates, system and building access, JIRA, confluence etc.).
- 2nd & 3rd line support.
- Do risk analysis, security assessment and business continuity management.
- Ensure delivery of technical solutions, quality, highlight risks and impediments to service development teams.
- Ensure Storage, network and Security operations follows high security standard and Ericsson Information Security Requirements (ISR).
- Documentation. (Project documentation, way of working documentation, system documentation etc).
- Adopt cloud native and hybrid cloud technology principles.
- Work collaboratively with customers to improve the product.
